Below we’ve collated some info on some of the fantastic awards and movements which you need to know about, so that you too can show your support of the fantastic businesses and creative entrepreneurs we have in this country, and perhaps even apply to win them!
Why we love #SBS, aka Small Business Sunday
#SBS (Small Business Sunday), is one of the leading small business networks in the UK, with over 4,000 active members. Run by BBC Dragon’s Den entrepreneur Theo Paphitis, each week this community welcomes 6 small businesses who tweet, comment or post an image to @TheoPaphitis, describing their business to the #SBS community.

Selling site Folksy has their own awards!
Folksy is an online marketplace, branding themselves ‘the home of British craft’, as a place to buy handmade gifts, original artwork and more, directly from the creatives who made them!
Folksy ran an awards ceremony this August, including a prize for Outstanding Piece, of which the winner won a year’s FREE Pedddle membership!

NMTF Young Traders
Running annually, the NMTF Young Traders’ awards host a variety of markets with the aim of supporting the next generation of stallholders.
The Pedddle team have previously visited this market many times, and it’s always wonderful to be able to support the future generations of market traders.
