It is important to us that you are confident we are protecting your privacy and not using personal information inappropriately. 1. As a visitor using Pedddle.com, we collect data for our own business purposes to enable a better customer experience of our website. Without login, the only information collected is an IP address. We do also use cookies. Please refer to section 5 for details about these.

Any data collected will not be shared nor otherwise distributed or sold. This data captured does not disclose any details about specific location, names or personal details outlined in the privacy policy.

When using the contact forms:

A) Sending a message to a trader/stallholder or event organiser using a Contact Form on one of our pages.

If you send a message to a trader or event organiser, the message goes directly to the email address or details they have provided. We do capture the contact made through our website and it is stored for reference only. They (parties contacted) will get your email address, name(s) and message. Our members are in the process of becoming GDPR compliant too.

B) Sending a message to the Pedddle team.

We capture your message and details in order to contact you directly in reply. You will not be added to our mailing list without consent.

2. Using the site as a stallholder.

Becoming a member (stallholder/trader):
When registering your business to create a stallholder page, these details are stored on the database and are not passed to a third party. We only require simple details such as name, email, hometown and no other personal details are held on our databases. Information such as IP address is captured for our analytics and cookies are passed onto your device.

3. Becoming a member (market/event organiser):
When registering details to create a market page, these details are stored on the database and are not passed to a third party. We do only require simple details such as name, email, town of market and no other personal details are held on our databases. Information such as IP address is captured for our analytics and cookies are passed onto your device.

4. Your rights

Amending data or unsubscribing:
If at any time you would like to remove your details from our database or you would like to revise the information you have provided to us because you are aware is incorrect, you can so do by contacting us at [email protected].

You can request at DSAR (Data Subject Access Request) you will need to provide us with some details such as your name, address and email details in order for us to locate any activity on the site.

How we use personal data:
Research- Information from analytics to assess site usage etc enables us to understand what our site users want to see and do when they visit.

Technical support – Occasionally we use third party service providers to provide business operations support (including advertising and marketing advice and support), financial services and technology services. Please note that these third parties are under contract, and our service agreements dictate that they only use your information in connection with the services they perform for us and not for their own benefit. If the Police or a regulatory or government authority investigating illegal activities ask us to provide information concerning your activities whilst using our website, we will cooperate and do so.
Our members/stall holders are bound by the same legislation as us but we are not responsible for the personal privacy policies held by any third party or member.

Email – We use a third party called MailChimp to help distribute emails. They are fully GDPR compliant and store email addresses for us and these are not distributed.

Internet concerns:
We aim to give our commitment to follow current laws and legislation surrounding privacy, however the internet cannot be 100% secure. If you give information, you do so willingly and your own risk. We cannot be responsible for any damages which you, or others, may suffer as a result of the loss of confidentiality of such information. Remember, if you post information on public forums on message boards, through email or social media, that information can be collected and used by others. Don’t forget to close browser windows to ensure others cannot access information once you have finished. If it is a communal computer be mindful of this as others could track your usage.

Any calls made to Pedddle will not be recorded.
