Sefton Park’s Palm House is an iconic venue, but what is Pop-up in the Palm House like as a market?
The Pop-up in the Palm House market takes place around 3 times a year, using the Palm House venue as a beautiful backdrop for all kinds of artisan wares.
Our blog explores exactly what Pop-up in the Palm House is like as a market, what makes it so special, and why it’s well worth you paying a visit.
What is Pop-up in the Palm House?
Pop-Up in the Palm House is a market event for artists, makers and designers from across the North, with customers coming to visit from all over the country.
The market is set in the Palm House of Liverpool’s beautiful Sefton Park – a glass venue which acts as a greenhouse to palms and other plants, providing an exotic, luscious backdrop of greenery.
The market allows small businesses to showcase and sell their works. At each Pop-up in the Palm House market, there will be food and seasonal drinks on offer, along with live music (often from local Liverpudlian artists) providing excellent entertainment, creating a brilliant atmosphere. The grounds outside the Palm House are great to explore too!
What the organisers say about their markets…
Being based in Liverpool, we are super lucky to have a wealth of amazing producers to work with at our events, from the city and beyond, but we are always on the look out for talented creators from all over the country as well as our North West locals.
Our variety of fairs and markets provide you with an opportunity to discover unique produce, from artworks to jewellery, leather craft to organic preserves and everything in between, to meet the makers behind the brands and find out the story behind your purchase. There’s always a wide variety of artisan crafts, food and homewares on offer, with lots of shopping options and a lovely atmosphere too.
The venue makes all the difference, as it’s such a beautiful space to spend a day out.
There is always plenty to do at our markets; meet, eat and enjoy, and we can’t wait to see you in Sefton Park at our next market!

What Nicki thinks…
Liverpool should be pretty proud of this event, as it sees crowds pulled from all over the UK to visit Liverpool.
