Macclesfield’s Treacle Market has been exceptionally popular since its inception in 2010, and for the last decade has brought 150 stalls to the historic Macclesfield Marketplace on the last Sunday of every month (except December).
As one of the largest Artisan Markets in the North West, at Treacle Market you can find food, drink, unique crafts, vintage finds and so much more. There is always plenty to see, smell and taste – and the setting itself is just so beautiful and it’s the ideal day out for all the family.
Pedddle Founder Nicki recently took a train journey to Macclesfield and had a good stroll around the Treacle Market, meeting some of the fabulous stallholders and makers there on her day out.
Treacle Market has a fantastic reputation, and people travel from all over the UK to visit this brilliant local artisan market.

Let’s hear what some of our Pedddle members have to say about selling at Treacle.
I love the customers, they come out in force every month despite any bad weather we might have and it’s always such a pleasure to stand at this market.Jemma at Old Man and Magpie Candle co.
