Feedback from our community - Pedddle case studies - Handmade dog

We love hearing feedback from our community! Pedddle‘s dedication to small businesses and talented artisan makers means that receiving great feedback from both markets, stallholders and customers is all the more special to us.

We’ve compiled some feedback from our stallholder community, as they are best placed to share what Pedddle means to them. Here are just a few kind words from some of our Pedddle stallholder members:

Feedback from our stallholder community:

“The Pedddle community often inspires me on how I can improve my business day to day and helps me to set goals on what I would like to achieve. Nicki has made all of this possible with her focus and innovation with Pedddle.” – Grace at Cushy Paws.

“Such a lovely community to be part of!” – Nikomi at ByNikomi

“As someone new in the country starting their business from scratch (and being a mom of 3 kids all under 5!), Pedddle has really helped me by making me a part of their community. It really is one of the best groups I have been involved with. The management is very much involved with the members and help us with every aspect of the business, whether it’s how to take pictures of your products or tips on growing your business. It has given me confidence when I needed it and lots of knowledge. All the members are helpful, kind and very supportive too. I highly recommend Pedddle, not only for their markets or to grow your business but to be a part of a beautiful community of local business owners” – Hind from Khayt.

“I joined Pedddle in May 2021 and it has been such a great resource! It’s helping build Mae Kandoo’s online presence! The resources and how to guidelines are easy to access and are very helpful. If you are not confident using social media, there’s great support there too. I’ve also taken advantage of live workshops. Really positive and proactive interactions – thanks Nicki and the Pedddle UK team!” – Victoria at Mae Kandoo

“Being a Pedddle member has made me feel part of a much wider community. It’s been great to connect with other creatives and share our experiences. It’s also been a fabulous resource of Instagram workshops, SEO videos and access to discounted online courses such as photography. This is all in addition to the online markets, which have increased my audience and sales, and I know that Pedddle are there to support me and my business.” – Alison at Sakarma Handmade

“Two people visited the stall today, just because they saw us on Pedddle!” – Jemma, Old Man and Magpie Candle Co.

“I joined Pedddle in 2020 and since then have been overwhelmed with the support and guidance I’ve received from the Pedddle team and community. I’ve learnt so much, been able to take part in opportunities such as online markets and live videos, as well as helping to expand my small business network. As someone who is all new to a creative business and markets, Pedddle has been an incredible resource and has helped give me the confidence to get myself and Little Smidge of Happiness out there. A huge thank you to Nicki and the Pedddle team!” – Lauren from Little Smidge of Happiness.

“Thank you Pedddle – we’re loving what you do!” – Naomi at Morgan & Wells

“I joined Pedddle during the pandemic, when the world had turned upside down and all my physical markets had vanished, and it was clear Christmas 2020 would be all about selling online. I’d already met Nicki at some of my Staffordshire markets and decided to join her permanently. It was one of the best decisions I made. Being grouped together at the beginning with lots of other newbies was really helpful – we asked each other questions and helped each other find our way. The Pedddle team are friendly and helpful and by far my most constant go to for help. Nicki has made some really useful videos and help tutorials which I’ve found invaluable and the Pedddle-run markets are always the best online markets I attend and, dare I say, pretty stress free! A year on from going online, in hindsight, there are quite a few things I wouldn’t do again, but I would without doubt join Pedddle.” – Paula from Handforthmade.

“Hands down, one of the best decisions of 2021 has been signing up with Pedddle. I’ve met so many supportive, talented makers that just wouldn’t be possible because of geographical distance. Nicki and the team are right by my side, encouraging growth, creating opportunities to check-in with other members and space to be authentic on our maker’s journey” – Anasik, Poppy Darling.

How we’re helping stallholders

Pedddle was created for customers to find local markets near them easily, and our market functions mean that you can find markets near you, and see the stallholders that sell at them – even after the event. If you spotted a fantastic stallholder at market but didn’t buy from them on the day, Pedddle allows you to find them afterwards and get in touch with ease.

We are constantly finding new ways for our members to grow their businesses and reach a wider audience. Back in 2018, we added an online market function, eventually hosting markets throughout 2020 and 2021 to help our stallholders during the pandemic. We have seen the world go online, and the need for hybrid markets which blend the online and offline worlds. In April 2021, we created our sister website, Tresstle, which has now become an online events platform in its own right, whilst Pedddle continues to support artisan markets and the stallholders that sell at them.

Our stallholder members are passionate, creative, talented, hardworking, and most of all enjoy being part of a fantastic community and their feedback is valued. Here at Pedddle, we support stallholders, whether that be through assistance in finding new events and markets, receiving and sharing advice from like-minded people, social media shoutouts, general brand awareness, in-person meet-ups and more…
