Melksham Makers’ Market is a volunteer-led market run by local lasses Sarah Hillman and Nicola Coleman. The market is hosted by Melksham Town Council, who support Nicola and Sarah in the set-up of the market (and all of the paperwork that goes with it)!
Shop local and discover brilliant artisans from across Wiltshire at this lovely outdoor market. You’ll find a variety of different types of stalls and artisans, with lots to browse and some lovely people to meet!
The market is an outdoor market, which takes place in the Melksham Market Place on the last Saturday of every month (from April to September each year, excluding August) from 9am – 2pm, and can accommodate approximately 25 stallholders - so there’s always plenty to see!
There are two large gazebos (which fit 4 traders in each), and 2 small gazebos (which can fit two traders in each), and these can be borrowed for those traders who don’t have their own gazebos. The cost is £15 a pitch; if you share a pitch then you share the cost! If you’re a stallholder, please contact us using the form below to enquire.
The Melksham Makers’ Market is an event for small, local craft businesses and makers to have the opportunity to showcase their talents, which in turn provides our lovely town with unique, handmade items and encourages people to ‘shop local.’
See you at the market!
