Blanchand Village Hall and Bar has step free access and is wheelchair accessible, there is designated disabled parking at the front, please show your Blue Badge. The Lord Crewe Gatehouse has a stone staircase leading up to the venue and The square is loose gravel, but is negotiable for wheechair uers and buggies with care. Blanchland Abbey Church has two steps down into the building. There are toilets, including a disabled toilet in Blanchland Village Hall and there are public toilets with a disabled toilet in the village.
Parking
The Village has a large public car park, £2 per vehicle per day (via an Honesty Box; these funds help support the Abbey). Location: Shildon Road, DH8 9SS. We also have Disabled Parking (Blue Badge) at the front of The village Hall, DH8 9UA and all being well there will be ample parking on the Showfield at the front of The Hall, £1.00 honesty box at the exit. Please follow our volunteers stewards guidance. We politely request that visitors park carefully and do not block other cars in, we also ask that you avoid street parking and please be mindful of our residents, who will require access throughout the day, thank you in advance.

Refreshments available at a number of locations from Pop-Up Cafe's in The Gatehouse and Village Hall, Crepe Expecations on The Patio and The Lord Crewe Stone Baked Pizzas and bar on the Square, making Blanchland Artisan Market the place to visit for all your Christmas shopping and festive cheer.
