Who we are

Wilou Designs is a handmade jewellery brand created by Ava, an independent maker whose work blends structure, softness, and thoughtful craftsmanship. Living with disability and neurodivergence has informed a slow, intentional approach to making, allowing each piece to be developed with care and attention to detail. The brand is best known for its contemporary chainmail jewellery, crafted in stainless steel and often paired with carefully selected stones. These designs explore balance, repetition, and movement, resulting in bold yet wearable pieces that feel both modern and timeless.

Alongside chainmail, Wilou Designs also creates copper floral jewellery inspired by nature and organic forms. Hand-shaped petals and floral elements bring a sense of warmth and tactility to the collection, offering a softer counterpoint to the strength and geometry of the chainmail work. Wilou Designs exists to create jewellery that helps people feel seen, confident, and a little more themselves — celebrating creativity outside of conventional systems.
