Who we are

Spuggy Designs is an independent creative business specialising in thoughtfully designed and handmade products inspired by cosy living, quality craftsmanship and a slower, more considered way of life.

The Spuggy Designs collection brings together knitted accessories and homewares, cosy knitted blankets, hand-poured soy candles, lanolin-enriched soaps, journals and other giftable pieces. Products are designed or handmade in small batches, with a focus on quality materials, distinctive details and creating something a little different from mass-produced alternatives.

Knitted pieces are created using a manually powered flatbed knitting machine, with each item individually made and finished by hand. Natural fibres are used wherever possible, alongside carefully selected yarns including deadstock yarn, helping make use of beautiful materials that might otherwise go unused. The range includes practical and cosy knitted accessories as well as soft knitted blankets designed to bring warmth, texture and colour into the home.

Home fragrance is also a key part of Spuggy Designs. The range of hand-poured soy wax candles features original fragrance combinations developed specifically for the brand. Rather than relying solely on familiar, ready-made fragrances, Spuggy Designs creates distinctive blends with their own character. Scents range from warm and comforting to fresh and seasonal, including the popular Stovetop Potpourri collection. Each candle is produced in small batches and designed to be equally suited to gifting or creating a cosy atmosphere at home.

The collection also includes lanolin-enriched handmade soap bars, available in traditional round bars as well as distinctive 3D sheep-shaped designs. Made with a rich soap base containing lanolin and plant butters, the soaps are available in a selection of essential-oil scent combinations. Their unusual designs and carefully chosen fragrances make them an easy choice for small gifts, stocking fillers or everyday treats.

Journals and notebooks complement the handmade ranges, reflecting the wider Spuggy Designs approach to slow living and taking time for simple, screen-free activities such as writing, reflecting, planning and doodling.
