Who we are

My name is Noor Ahmad, and I’m the founder and maker behind noorsnotes, a paper goods and print-led brand. I’m a British-Pakistani designer based in London, UK. I founded noorsnotes in June 2023, flourishing through hand-drawn, illustration-led design. My designs have developed towards modern greeting cards, art prints and notebooks, with plans to expand into homeware and lifestyle products. noorsnotes is women-owned, Asian-owned and student-owned, and not stocked on Amazon. Each product is led by slow design, small-batch production and original prints, with a focus on thoughtful, unique paper goods.
Alongside my small business, I’m pursuing my BA studies in Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins, UAL. Much of what I learn on the course feeds back into the business, from material experimentation like hand-binding all notebooks, to being mindful of sustainable and ethical production.

What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into something more: a way to spread meaningful, intentional design that resonates with others. Rooted in playful illustration, South Asian culture, diaspora narratives and nostalgia, everything I create is made to connect – and to be kept or gifted. My work sits at the intersection between soulful and soft, balancing cultural storytelling with contemporary design. What you see at noorsnotes is original, independent work that can’t be found anywhere else.

noorsnotes is an earth-conscious brand — that’s why it has always prioritised biodegradable packaging, ethical sourcing and small-batch production, encouraging mindful gifting among its customer base and retail partners.
