Who we are

Kat Pearson by name and cat person by choice!

LULU’S MINIONS by Kat Pearson Designs are (mostly) cat, dog and other animal illustrations which feature on colourful coasters, mugs, cushions and giftware as well as artwork and cards. She also produces one-of-a-kind hand-sculpted and painted ceramic cat portraits and characters, including a new range of wall mounted ceramic character cat faces, called ‘Purrgoyles’, featuring such names as ‘Ziggy Purrdust’, ‘Harald Bluefloof’ and ‘Furrida Kahlo’!
Dog designs are also available, with specific breeds on request. Ceramic or digital pet portraits are available to commission, with a variety of style and prices to suit no end of cat lovers. Also small scale gift products, ideal as stocking fillers, Secret Santa, little thank yous etc. are available from as little as £2.

Kat graduated from MMU with an honours degree in Crafts (Wood, Metal, Textiles & Ceramics) and followed that up with 20 years as an Art and Design Technology teacher. Originally from Stockport, Kat now runs Kat Pearson Designs full-time from her home in Newton-le-Willows, with IT and moral support, plus occasional heavy lifting, from the Bear!
