Who we are

I’m originally from Stockton-on-Tees and from a very young age always had a passion for art. I studied Art & Design in Middlesbrough, and then Textile Design in Derby. My career path then swerved off into the education sector and I enjoyed many years as a teacher.

Over the last year I’ve finally found my way back to doing what I truly love. I really enjoy working across a variety of mixed media, including bold acrylics, watercolour, pastel, and pencil, each offering its own unique way of expressing ideas and emotion.

My most recent work explores a more spontaneous, abstract style. Using vibrant, bold acrylics, I build up layers of colour to create loose, intuitive landscapes that evolve naturally as I paint. I take my inspiration from local landscapes, where land meets water, walks in the Lakes and Scottish Borders.

I sell both originals and prints, which are produced on beautifully crafted Hahnemühle paper, selected for its quality and ability to bring out the richness of colour and detail.

My artwork is available in a variety of sizes, from 12cm x 12cm up to A2. The smaller artworks look lovely individually, but when displayed and framed as a group they create a truly fabulous impact.

I’ve partnered with some fantastic local companies to produce my cards and prints, and I’m really excited to keep expanding the range. I’m also exploring textiles—especially silk scarves—so watch this space!

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work.
