Who we are

My name’s Dona Bradley from dona B drawings and I’m just crazy about drawing buildings!

I trained as a spatial designer and worked for an interior design team for 4 years so my creative background is definitely in buildings and our memorable experiences relating to them. I started my own business, dona B drawings, when my contract ended and it’s now a wonderful way to work doing what I love.

Using my architectural drawing and graphic design skills I offer a range of illustration styles using local landmarks, holiday destinations or your own home to produce unique prints, gifts and homewares.

Taking the building and location as inspiration and using photography as source material my work is a combination of hand-drawing, digital colour and collage. The final version is digital which gives me the freedom to reform, reshape, recolour and redesign the original image to accommodate all the different product formats I offer. These range from cards to coasters, tea towels to tote bags and mugs to magnets.

I have found some great UK companies to work with to help me produce my cards, prints, gifts and homewares and I’m adding to my range all the time.

I sell online, via independent local retailers and at live events. I love meeting my customers and hearing what they think of dona B drawings. I book a range of small and large markets, art trails and festivals throughout the year and am always looking for new opportunities in the Bristol, Bath & Swindon areas.

I do take commissions where current work allows and would be happy to discuss creating bespoke product ranges for you too.
