Who we are
Hi, I’m Lucy! Welcome to Ada Brown Designs. I design and create modern hand embroidery for embroidery kits, soft furnishings and wall art. I love to design using natural images and reproducing them in a modern simplistic style.
The name Ada Brown is actually my Great Grandmother’s. My love of embroidery came originally from the many tablecloths and napkins we owned, that had been created by her as I was growing up. Now I embroider onto lovely colourful linen using 4 ply cotton yarn.
The work I produce is designed to be beautiful to look at, tactile and robust enough to withstand everyday life. Just like my Grandmas tablecloths!
