Who we are
We are John Tabern and Caroline Platt, Market Organisers, Bottle Shop Events Team. The Market is our first venture into operating major public events at the Bottle Shop beyond our Talks and Tours. We are a small organisation concerned with trying to save and repurpose the Bottle Shop into an active and vibrant community space. 2 years ago this building was derelict. We want to create a friendly market environment in a unique heritage setting. Our first Artisan Market opened on Saturday 4 April 2026 and will continue every first Saturday of the month.
