Pollen ~ Inner City Flower Market
On the third Sunday of each month, this brand new flower market will take place in the heart of Sheffield, in Castlegate. Fresh flowers and botanical delights abound, as the vibrant colours and scents transport you to a more serene place.
Overlooking the bridge built as an ode to a lost love, Pollen aims to revive Sheffield’s ancient heart with the long-awaited return of its once famous flower market. Forming part of the ‘Grey to Green’ initiative, Pollen plays a pivotal role in bringing the much missed colours, scents and sights back to Castlegate, breathing life into a part of town that was once the gateway to the city.
Offering a curated programme of events throughout the year, Pollen will deliver an abundance of greenery, live music and art, local produce and much more to the people of Sheffield. The glorious plants and flowers also make this one of the most exciting things to come to Sheffield in recent times, and you can take a piece of nature home with you!

This weekly Saturday market takes place in Chapeltown, featuring a plethora of street food traders with excellent food, plus the Signal Box bar.
