There is Much Joy Ahead Makers Markets are about embracing joy, finding community & shopping small. Our Wollaton markets are aimed at drawing together the best creative talent to build community and promote wellbeing.
These markets are run by Sarah, an Occupational Therapist in mental health for over 20 years now. Sarah says, “I know the value of creativity and connection on mental health and wellbeing. Our markets are the front door to community, built on by workshops run by stall holders and other local businesses to create spaces that enable connection.
We are seeking to reach an inter generational community using more traditional methods of advertising as well as those online in an attempt to establish a community that looks like the area it serves.
There are no other indoor markets in this area, so there is much joy ahead markets represent a unique opportunity to tap into a new consumer base & the response we have had so far has been excellent. We know that our stall holders are key to creating the atmosphere on the day, so it’s our intention to look after you too. Tea and Coffee is provided for all our traders throughout the day, free of charge, and a stall holder snack survival kit will be on your table when you arrive. Tables are provided and our hall is air conditioned/heated”.
We believe that creativity and connection are at the heart of well-being, and we’re excited to create spaces that are good for the soul.
