Ruthin Artisan Markets are built with heart for the community. This series of markets is held within the grounds of Ruthin Gaol, showcasing local artisanal businesses selling everything from food and drink to arts and crafts.
Founded by three friends in 2020 to create and deliver fun, family-friendly events locally, the markets are affordable and provide a great opportunity to find unique gifts whilst supporting local businesses. The markets are a great way to enjoy the company of friends and family while exploring the local community and discovering great locally made goods.
Now hosting monthly artisan markets in the historic town of Ruthin and operating additional markets in Holywell and St Asaph with more locations on the way, our business has become a renowned attraction to thousands of shoppers travelling from far and wide to meet some of their favourite artisans in person and discover new and exciting offerings.
We host more than just markets, with regular Food & Drink Festivals in the calendar as well as facilitating pop-up-shop events, which have created opportunities for fundraisers and start-up businesses all over.
In partnership with Denbighshire Voluntary Services, Ruthin Artisan Markets has taken the helm of Ruthin's historic market hall, revitalising the hall and creating a vibrant community space to host an ever changing variety of stallholders, as well as events including supper clubs, music nights and late night shopping events. The cafe in the Market Hall will be open too, with local tea and coffee as well as freshly made Welsh cakes.
