Muncaster Sausage Festival offers great family fun, with live demos, tastings, food and drink stalls, music, even a sausage dog competition! You can even cast your vote for the best meat or vegan sausage - there’ll be all kinds of sausage available!

Discover everything from local sausage makers to a vegan sausage stand, with activities for children and lots more – not to mention the delights of historic (and haunted!) Muncaster Castle, which has over 70 acres of gardens for you to explore too. You can visit their Hawk & Owl Centre, watch bird of prey flying displays, let the kids loose on the adventure playground, and then pick up some Muncaster merch in the gift shop too – it’s a great day out for the whole family.
