Join us for a wonderfully festive Makers Market at Lind & Lime Distillery, right in the heart of Leith, just a short stroll from the Shore!
On Saturday 27th November 2027, we'll be bringing together a gorgeous collection of independent makers, Scottish artists and creatives for a day of handmade Christmas shopping, festive treats, creative workshops and lovely community spirit.
Set within the beautiful surroundings of Lind & Lime Distillery, it's the perfect opportunity to discover something special, meet the makers behind the products and enjoy a little festive magic!
Our Makers Market
Our festive Makers Market is carefully curated to showcase a wonderful mix of locally produced, handmade products, celebrating the creativity, skills and talent of independent makers from across Scotland. Expect to discover everything from artwork, prints and jewellery to ceramics, textiles, clothing, candles, accessories, skincare, homewares and lots more! Whether you're looking for a thoughtful handmade Christmas gift, a little treat for yourself or simply fancy a lovely day out, there'll be plenty to explore.
Alongside our makers, visitors can enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of Lind & Lime Distillery, with its gin bar, delicious food and festive refreshments.
Our markets are all about bringing people together, supporting independent businesses and giving visitors the opportunity to meet the talented people behind the products they love.
Creative Workshops
There's more to our festive Makers Market than shopping! We're delighted to offer a dedicated space for seasonal creative workshops, giving visitors the opportunity to try something new, get hands-on and enjoy a little festive creativity.
From Christmas-inspired crafts to creative experiences, our workshops are a lovely way to spend time with friends, learn a new skill or make something special to take home.
2027 Workshop Information
Capacity: Up to 10 attendees per workshop
Session length: 2 hours
Morning session: 11.00am – 1.00pm
Afternoon session: 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Workshop hosts are responsible for managing their own ticket sales and bookings, with promotional support from Support The Makers.
Applications & Closing Dates
We welcome applications from independent makers, artists and creatives who design and produce their own work. For 2027, we're introducing four seasonal application closing dates, making it easier for makers to plan ahead and apply for multiple markets throughout the year.
Our Lind & Lime Festive Makers Market falls within our Festive Markets application period.
Festive Markets | November – December
Applications close: Sunday 29th August 2027
All applications are reviewed following the relevant seasonal closing date, with applicants notified of the outcome by email shortly afterwards.
As our markets are carefully curated, we consider product variety, quality and suitability when selecting makers.

Successful applicants will receive a detailed market information email approximately four weeks before the event, followed by further market-day guidance closer to the date. All traders must have valid Public Liability Insurance.
