Gastro Festival will essentially be a family food, drink & craft festival with lots of great entertainment to encourage longer dwell times and a particular emphasis placed on the craft market to ensure we attract attendees who intend on spending with our traders.
Gastro Festival will essentially be a family food and drink festival with lots of great entertainment to encourage longer dwell times and a particular emphasis placed on the craft market to ensure we attract attendees who intend on spending with our traders.
All will be high footfall events with Gastro Festival being based on similar merits to Pocklington Christmas Market, where we welcomed around 15,000 people in our first year.
Our budget for these events is substantially higher than with Pocklington Christmas Market, this is mostly due to the increased marketing budget which we have set aside.
With the hopes of making Gastro Festival a household name and a great success for all of our traders, we will be:
• Delivering an attractive music and entertainment line up.
• Sending out 25,000+ leaflets via Royal Mail Door 2 Door campaigns.
• Distributing 1,500 shop posters.
• Launching a large radio ad campaign.
• Launching a large social media ad campaign.
• Placing 20x large 3m x 1.5m banners in busy locations around East Yorkshire and York areas, plus 60x A1 size roadside adverts.
• Listing in local media publications and what’s on pages.
As always we will endeavour to do the very best for our traders and honour those who have supported our events in the past.
