Join us just south of Glasgow on the banks of the river Clyde amongst acres of stunning scenery for our Festive Artisan Market - David Livingstone Birthplace Museum.
David Livingstone Birthplace museum is an immersive tribute to our most famous explorer who adventured to Africa to set up European missions and trading stations - it was on his first exploration that he survived an attack from a particularly hungry lion! Don't worry though, the only lion that you will encounter at this brilliant venue is the one immortalised in the form of a bronze statue depicting the attack!
We have 32 artisan makers and producers joining our festive market - many are local to Lanarkshire and Glasgow and will be showcasing seasonal goods and produce that has been hand crafted within the locality.
Browse accessories, apothecary, art, artisan butter, bread and baked goods, candles and home fragrance, ceramics, childrens clothing and accessories, chocolates, craft ale, farm shop produce, felted art, gin, glass, honey produce, interior decoration, jewellery, knits, pastries, photography, rum, stationery, textiles, vintage, wood and much more
We also have a fabulous jeweller who will be offering a permanent jewellery service - this is a quick and completely painless process where a bracelet, necklace or anklet are attached together by fusing instead of a clasp. Come along and design your own bespoke piece of jewellery and choose from different chains, charms and trinkets to make yours extra special!
