Charlesworth & Chisworth Carnival is taking place on 13th July 2024.
The Charlesworth & Chisworth Carnival parade route will begin outside St. Margaret’s School in Gamesley at 12.30 on carnival Saturday, and end about 20 minutes later at the Village Green.

12.30 Parade sets off
13.00 Parade arrives at Village Green
14.00 Crowning of carnival queen
14.30 Senior fell race starts
15.30 Junior fell race starts
16.30 Prize-giving for fell race,scarecrows, floats & fancy dress!
PLEASE NOTE: In the hopefully unlikely event that the Carnival has to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, the FINAL decision will be made on the on the Wednesday before Carnival Day. Please refer directly to the organisers for further details.
