- Blanchand Village Hall and bar has step free access and is wheelchair accessible, there is limited disabled parking at the front. The Lord Crewe Gatehouse has a stone staircase leading up to the venue. Blanchland Abbey Church has two steps and a ramp leading down into the building. Blanchland Village Hall. There are toilets, including a disabled toilet in Blanchland Village Hall and there are public toilets with a disabled toilet in the village.

- The Village has a large public car park, £1 per vehicle per day (via an Honesty Box; these funds help support the Abbey). Location: Shildon Road, DH8 9SS. We politely request that visitors avoid street parking and please be mindful of our residents, who will require access throughout the day.

Blanchland Artisan Markets brings together some of the very best, makers, artists, designers and creatives from around the North East, North Yorkshire and the Borders at this carefully and thoughtfully curated artisan market.
Showcasing their latest work of 2024, our artisan makers will help you discover the most fantastic textiles, hand poured candles, exquisite artisan chocolates, unique men's and women's jewellery, vegan and natural soaps, essential body care, sumptuous knits, mouthwatering bakes, award winning preserves, stunning wood craft, incredible paintings, prints and applique art, fused glass, ceramics, millinery, wreaths, dog jackets and much more.
Along with some of our regular artisans, each market will welcome new makers and creatives, giving you the very best selection of the very highest quality handmade, locally produced art, craft, food and drink.
We look forward to welcoming you to our village wide event, using some of the most iconic buildings Blanchland has to offer, with makers nestled in the Lord Crewe Arms Gatehouse, Blanchland Village Hall and the Long Room. We have activities for all ages in Blanchland Abbey and refreshments for sale in a number of superb locations, making Blanchland Artisan Market the place to visit this Bank Holiday Monday.
