Sudbury Farmers Market is held outside and runs all the way along Market Hill, with the statue of Thomas Gainsborough looking over us!
Stalls include Sunshine & Green with fresh organic vegetables all grown just four miles away in Cavendish, vegan pastries from The Norwegian Bakers, BeeHouse Honey, handmade pies and selection of regional cheeses from Compleat and delicious home baked treats from Alex's Artisan Bakery. Tensheds Bakehouse attend every month with their sourdoughs and breads, The Jam Shed bring their jams and chutneys and Mena’s Indian Banquet provides some spice with freshly made samosas and bhajiis. There are gluten free cakes and quiches from Hopewell Bakery, a range of chilli jams from Mad Mike, and fruit vinegars and marshmallows from Yaffle House. Look out for tasty sausages and venison from Totham Bangers and Wigborough Meats offer a range of their home reared beef, pork and hogget, as well as Sutton Hoo chicken.
Assington based charity, The Befriending Scheme bring a range of plants and herbs from their farm, and if all of that shopping makes you thirsty, there is craft beer from Roughacre Brewery!
We also have a selection of excellent craft stalls including Thistle & Rose soaps and creams, recycled wooden crafts from Comfy Be, as well as candles from Potterswick.
With over 25 stalls showcasing their food and drink on Market Hill, Sudbury Farmers Market is a perfect place to stay local, get outdoors and shop in the fresh air.
