JINC is a beautifully made guided journal that holds everything your family would need to know — gently, in one place. Not for you. For them. Just IN Case.

So much of family life quietly lives in one person’s head: the accounts and renewal dates, the passwords and policies, the everyday routines, the name of the dentist, where the important documents are kept. We carry it all without ever noticing how much it is — until the day someone else needs to find it. JINC was created to lift that invisible weight and put it somewhere calm, clear and findable.

Inside, the journal gently guides you through everything that matters: essential personal and emergency information, household finances, home and everyday life, health and digital details, family and dependants, and — the part people don’t expect to love most — pages for personal messages and letters to the people you hold dear. It isn’t a will, and it isn’t morbid or clinical. It’s simply clarity, made with love.

JINC began from a very personal place. After a health scare and major surgery, our founder Angela realised how much of her family’s life existed only in her memory — and how lost her loved ones would be without it. She looked for something beautiful and reassuring to bring it all together, couldn’t find it anywhere, and so she made it herself. Every detail of JINC, from its 315 thoughtfully structured pages to its sage-green cloth cover and antique gold foiling, was designed to feel like a keepsake rather than a chore.

This is the Founding Edition — the very first JINC print run, intentionally limited to just 100 hand-numbered copies, each numbered by Angela herself. It’s a small, special first edition for the people who believe, as we do, that getting life’s essentials in order is one of the kindest things you can do for those you love. Founding owners also receive lifetime perks as the brand grows.

JINC is for anyone who runs a household and quietly holds it all together — parents, carers, partners, and anyone who has ever thought, “if something happened to me, would they even know where to start?” You don’t need to be older, or unwell, or planning for the worst. You just need to care about the people who would be left looking.
