- How to get here: The Drill Hall is well served by public transport. The tram operates between Newhaven and Edinburgh Airport (Balfour Street stop is less than 5 minutes walk away. Lothian buses 1, 7, 11, 14, 16, 25, 35 and 49 all stop on Leith Walk. From Monday to Friday, there is very limited paid parking and no free parking. RingGo operates in Dalmeny Street and other local streets. On-street parking on Dalmeny Street is free on Saturday and Sunday, but very limited, so you might not find a parking space on our street. More information on parking (including private off-street parking sites) can be found on the City of Edinburgh Council website.

MNB's 100% handmade Christmas market: 30+ independent makers each day, creative workshops, free entry and festive goodness.
Edinburgh certainly isn't short of Christmas markets. But in a city full of mass-produced gift Christmas Markets and things you could probably find online, we want to be different. This year, MNB and OOTB Drill Hall are bringing the focus back to real people making real things.
We want to create an alternative Christmas market where you can support small, buy unique, and enjoy the festivities while discovering the incredible creativity that exists right here in the community.
Expect independent makers, artists, and creatives, great food and drinks from the Drill Hall Café and a whole lot of handmade treasures:
- 10AM - 4PM each day
- Sensory Hour 10-11AM
- 30+ new stalls each day
- 100% handmade, all local artists and makers
- Carefully curated
- Free entry, tix on Skiddle (if you show the tickets you will get an emotional support frog)
- No drop shippers or AI slop
- 4 creative workshops throughout (ticketed separately by the co-hosts with a fee)
