Who we are
Aquatic Freckle makes handcrafted jewellery and homewares, inspired by a love of swimming and the water. It began from a simple idea, creating a keepsake to remember a holiday when I couldn’t find the right gift.
All my jewellery is handmade using eco-conscious materials and locally sourced suppliers wherever possible. I work primarily with eco silver and fine silver to create stud earrings, drop earrings, cord bracelets and necklaces. I used textures and designs that reflect the sea, lakes, shells, starfish, fish and many other things that live or dwell by the water.
Each piece is crafted by hand, with sterling silver findings used as standard. I also offer a limited supply of hypoallergenic drop earring findings, which can be swapped out on request for sensitive ears. Many of my fine silver items are left untreated for a natural finish, while others are coloured using specialist inks to create an enamel-style effect.
My fluid art jewellery range uses silver-plated base metals to offer affordable, colourful designs that reflect the sea. These pieces are ideal for those looking for bright, unique, budget-friendly gifts.
In addition to jewellery, I make a range of sea-inspired homewares using jesmonite—a British-made, eco-resin that’s been around for over 40 years. This collection includes trinket dishes, tea light holders, soap dishes and coasters, all in shades of blue, aqua and teal. Each item is one-of-a-kind due to the nature of the casting process, making them perfect for gifts or adding a splash of ocean colour to your home.
Prices range from £8-15 for the homewares, resin jewellery is from £5-25, and fine silver pieces range from £20 for silver studs up to £100 for statement necklaces, though i try to keep most things around £25-30
