- Due to the nature of the Grade 2 Listed building, there is NO step-free access to the mezzanine gallery floor level. The ground floor is fully accessible with disabled toilets located at the main entrance. Dogs are NOT permitted anywhere on site due to the risk of contamination of the water wells. There is no parking on site, but plenty of free street options close by.

- There is NO parking on site, but there are multiple options all a short walk away: Parking around Hove Park is free on Sunday, and free for 3 hours on Saturday (you can access the Engineerium through a pathway in the Park). There is free street parking to the East of Nevill Road.

The British Engineerium is an historic Grade 2 listed Victorian Industrial building. The Winter Fair takes place across two floors of the impressive former Coal Shed & gallery mezzanine , the outside grounds & a large marquee, bringing you the best & largest collection of artisan makers in the South East.
Expect to find a fully curated selection of high quality, unique and original artists, makers & designers with an array of contemporary, traditional and even quirky products. It’ll be your opportunity to explore, meet and shop with so many creative small independent businesses - a perfect start to the seasonal shopping period. Plus find speciality food and drink producers bringing you Sussex's finest gifts for your foodie friends.
You’ll also find delicious street food, Orange Beach Bars and artisan cakes & bakes so you can relax and take a break from all the shopping!
In addition there's an opportunity to make your very own Wreath with professional event florists Bunches of Sussex and there will be live festive performance to enjoy too.
