Who we are

We’re a creative couple inspired by the wild beauty of British wildlife and the rustic charm of reclaimed materials. Our journey began with a shared love of nature, art, and making things with our hands. Over time, it grew into something more — a way of life that blends creativity, sustainability, and a deep connection to the world around us.

Every piece we make is handcrafted using recycled wood — old floorboards, fence panels, crates, and forgotten timber, each one full of history, texture, and quiet character. We love that every board has a story. You’ll find knots, grain, cracks, and markings left by weather and time — imperfections that bring warmth and uniqueness to every artwork.

Andy paints each animal by hand at home, layering acrylics with soft, shimmering touches that catch the light and bring each creature to life. His background in art and education fuels a love for storytelling through brushwork — capturing not just what animals look like, but who they are: their stillness, their movement, their wild energy.

Meanwhile, Rachael preps the wood in our workshop unit — sourcing, cutting, sanding, and sealing each board with care. She brings the timber back to life, allowing its natural texture to shine through and influence the finished piece. No two are ever the same — and we love it that way.

Our art celebrates the creatures that roam the British coast and countryside — from foxes, owls, and deer to lobsters, crabs, and coastal birds. Whether woodland, farmland, or shoreline, we’re constantly inspired by the animals that make these places home. We aim to capture their essence — to tell a little piece of their story.

At the heart of it all is a simple idea: that nature is beautiful, art should be thoughtful, and the old and weathered deserve a second life. We believe in making with purpose, choosing materials carefully, and creating work that connects people to the wild and to the wonder in the everyday.

Together, we create honest, soulful artwork — shaped by the land, the sea, and the stories in every brushstroke. Every knot, grain, and glint of paint has a part to play.
