Who we are

I set up The Candle Mill to turn my passion for home fragrancing into a business and to address the gap in the market of quality home fragrancing at affordable prices. I was fed up of purchasing candles which smelled great in the shop, getting them home and lighting them only for the fragrance to be much less strong or in a lot of cases, virtually non-existent. This then created another problem for me, as I decided to splash out on expensive designer candles which were lovely but in reality, far too expensive for my budget. So I set out exploring the world of fragrance oils, waxes and wicks in a bid to solve the issues I had faced with the candles on the market and this is how The Candle Mill was born. My explorations have led me into the world of wax melts, reed diffusers, car diffusers and associated products such as wick trimmers, match bottles and now I have an ever expanding variety of products that I sell online and in person at markets.
