Who we are
SANS Studio, run by designer and printmaker Emily Gerrard, is a home for limited edition creations that honour the beauty of handmade techniques and traditional processes. At its core, the studio centres around screen-printing, championing the imperfections found within repeated forms and the individualities of reclaimed and forgotten objects such as old books, photographs, vintage packaging and vinyl records. The studio’s ethos is deeply rooted in celebrating traditional methods and analogue processes, with an emphasis on producing original, yet affordable items.
Screen printing lies at the heart of the studio, with designs combining a mixture of bold imagery and vintage graphics – pop art with a DIY twist! Products range from unique screen prints, hand processed and printed 35mm photographs, record sleeve notebooks, greetings cards, mixed media collage artworks, hand printed clothing, bags and accessories.
