Hannah Kate Makes is home to whimsical fantasy art that harnesses folklore and mythology to bring a sprinkle of magic into everyday life… with a little surrealist tongue-in-cheekism thrown in for good measure.

Every creation at Hannah Kate Makes is inspired by the rich tapestry of folklore, ancient tales and mythical creatures. From curious fae and woodland spirits to legendary creatures and enchanted forests, these imaginative works pay homage to the stories whispered through the ages. The result is a collection as diverse and enchanting as the myths themselves—each piece invites you to journey into the unreal.

As a self-taught artist, my journey to creating Hannah Kate Makes is a little unconventional. I’m a retired gardener and ex-forensic examiner who now spends my days drawing and painting the unreal, bringing things that don’t exist to life on the page. I believe that art should spark the imagination and transport you to a place of wonder, and that’s the ethos behind every product at Hannah Kate Makes.
