Who we are

I am Karen, the maker and owner behind Fleur de L’amour. I live in Suffolk but my heart belongs to Cornwall.

I started my business as our beloved cocker spaniel Benji was ill and needed someone to stay at home, so Fleur de L’amour was created.

Fleur de L’amour make bespoke pictures with our handmade paper flowers.. All the flowers take a number of different stages to complete before they can be used in a design on quality poster card. They are then framed in a beautiful box frame made be a small company in Cornwall, myself helping buy from small businesses. The pictures are put into box frames as the flowers do not sit flat, giving definition to the picture.

I also make other pictures, cushions, hearts and decoupaged letters. I normally sell at craft shows, Norfolk and Cornwall county shows and Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre, which I love, meeting new customers but also other traders.

My business name means ‘flowers of love’, and all my flowers were made for the love of Benji, he lived another 3 years and would lay at my feet while I created my pictures. I now have another cocker spaniel, Teddy, who is very mischievous but just as happy to sit and watch as long as we are together.
