Who we are
Flaxli is an eco friendly brand, creating organic timeless linen pieces for both the home and body which you won’t find in a store.
Why Flaxli?
The flax plant is what linen is made from and it has some strong attributes that place it high on the list of eco-friendly fabrics. To ensure we are doing our part for the planet we have sourced linen from a certified UK based 100% green energy mill which is powered by renewable electricity. Not only is the mill green, the fabric itself is too, natural linen is 100% biodegradable and uses 650.000 million cubic meters less water than cotton to make, reducing water usage. Also each hectare of flax captures 3.7 tonnes of CO2.
We create items for the home including children’s nursery pieces, hair accessories, home wear, and coming soon is children’s clothing.
When we are not sewing we are a Mother and Daughter duo, we can be seen running after two very energetic little boys. Chuck into that fostering, a primary school teacher and this business…let’s just say our lives are never dull.
