Fallow Moon

Who we are

Fallow Moon is a collection of handmade crafts inspired by nature, the cosmos and folklore.

You can find hand painted artwork, prints, cards, stickers, jewellery and glass frames filled with beautiful wild flowers, all hand collected and pressed in Staffordshire by me, Rebecca. Everything at Fallow Moon is slow made, working with nature and the seasons.

I love creating affordable artwork and crafts that incorporate the beauty of nature. I love bringing nature into the home, so I collect fallen branches from local woodland in Staffordshire and cut it down to paint on. I then turn these paintings into prints, cards and stickers digitally.

Each of my pieces is inspired by the cosmos, often reflecting the moon and stars. I love the Moon and all things celestial; the wonder of stargazing, learning about moon phases and the moon’s impact on our planet, and watching the wonderful colours that the sky creates.

I create glass frames filled with pressed flowers, which I collect on local walks. I love seeing the details of each flower up close and enjoy how this changes the work I create through the seasons.

I’ve also created some celestial inspired jewellery, reflecting different moon phases using different types of clay.

Fallow is a farming team where land is left for a rest period in order to restore it, which I thought appropriate for a business started during lockdown. I have lots of ideas for Fallow Moon products, and plan to expand my product range, making more guides to the moon and the seasons in 2023.
