Who we are
Adornment creates contemporary, affordable fun jewellery by reworking sustainable vintage and pre-loved materials.
Founder Katy trained as a silversmith but has always been captivated by reusing beautiful and interesting materials that are already out in the world, keeping them in circulation and saving them from landfill.
Design inspiration comes from the colours and shapes in found every day in art, architecture, ceramics, glass and nature or from the tones and textures of carefully sourced vintage materials themselves. Adornment doesn’t follow trends; pieces are intended to be timeless, combatting the churn of fashion consumption.
Adornment jewellery is designed and handcrafted by Katy at a home studio. All pieces are a one-off and make wonderful sustainable gifts for people that like unique, contemporary, fun jewellery. All packaging is plastic free, recycled and/or recyclable.
Adornment is based in SW London and Nottingham but can travel to markets in the counties around London as well as Leicester, Manchester and Liverpool
