York River Art Market has a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere, which has been compared to Left Bank in Paris and welcomes all.
YRAM is free of charge to come along and you are free to browse and buy directly from an array of brilliant Yorkshire based artists. Meander along the riverside walkway, where you will find over 30 different artists exhibiting their artworks all along the railings.
Our neighbours at the ice cream boat ‘Over the Moo’ and at the restaurant Starr Inn the City will satisfy your taste buds, though you may opt for a picnic beside the river or in the Museum Gardens. Whatever you decide on doing, be sure to come and enjoy this laid-back scene beside the river this Summer.
York River Art Market hosts a broad range of artists and makers. Expect to find ceramics, jewellery, paintings, prints, photographs, clothing, candles and much more. We care that each of the six events are never the same and so we host a different variety of creatives at each event, which means there is always something for everyone’s creative tastes and budget, and always new things to see each time you visit.
