Levy Makers Christmas Micromarket

GOOD FOLK OF LEVENSHULME! Have you been missing Levy Market like we have? Levenshulme’s an amazing place where people make interesting and fun products and art knowing that they will their efforts will be met positively by a uniquely supportive local community. But, with Levy market out of the picture at least for now, where can we get the makers and shoppers together? And is there a way that we can keep the spirit of Levy market alive in the festive season?
Levy Makers is a first attempt to respond to these questions. It’s organised by local makers with a history of trading in Levenshulme to find opportunities to get local goods back on sale in Levy. We’re organising with a 2 day micromarket at Overdraught on Saturday 9th and 10th December 3-9pm. You’ll find compact (but perfectly formed) stalls from your favourite sellers, with different traders each day. What’s more, it’s all held in a warm wind free environment where you’ll find Christmassy drinks and we’ll be raising some funds for the Peter Quinn Friendship Group Demential Support.
