Cheshire Print Fair was established to provide local artists and printmakers with a platform to both build an artistic community and develop a marketplace for their work.
The print fair brings printers, illustrators, designers, makers, storytellers together to showcase their work to the patrons of Chester.
The event is free to enter and the perfect opportunity for the public to see the fabulous artwork up close the way it should be seen and to get to meet the artists. Asking about and talking about printing and making is what makes these events special, the human interaction after so long without it.
There will be a wide range of print styles showcased among the stalls, expect to see beautiful work including screen and risograph prints, linocuts, etchings, woodcuts, hand-printed textiles, cyanotypes, children’s stories, zines and comics, decorations, greetings cards, homewares and gifts. Lots of lovely things for your house, gallery wall or to gift on to your nearest and dearest.
We aim to provide unique and affordable art and prints in Cheshire.
We have the stunning Chester Cathedral as our venue, we hope to get as many people as possible through the doors to celebrate print, art and community.
