The capital itself – Edinburgh
Starting in Edinburgh, which is known for its stunning architecture, rich history, and vibrant cultural scene. You can find Moular’s Christmas Arts & Crafts Fair on 24th & 25th November. This indoor market is located in the Shopping Centre George Street and is open open each day until late – 11am until 9pm with a great range of small businesses to shop from.
Also in the capital is the Support the Makers at Dovecot Studios. This is on 9th & 10th Dec if you’re planning a December market visit.
Dovecot Studios is a dynamic gallery space and you’ll find a great selection of gifts for your festive shopping needs.
Have you been to Dundee?
Tea Green’s Festive Design Market at V&A Dundee is on from 24th – 26th November. This market is full to the brim with high-quality products from some of Scotland’s best independent designers and makers, with some exhibiting in the city for the very first time, so you’re sure to find what you’re looking for.
Don’t forget about Glasgow!
If you’re in Glasglow, the The Burrell Collection Festive Winter Market, also by Tea Green Events, is well worth a visit on 11th & 12 November.
They’re also hosting another market in Glasgow at Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum on 2nd & 3rd December.

You can visit the Christmas Village Green Makers Market at The Mart in East Linton on 26th November and shop from great makers from East Lothian and beyond selling natural soap and candles, ceramics, textiles, botanical skincare, woodwork and artisan jewellery. It’s dog friendly, too!
