We are going to The Handmade Fair! The Handmade Fair at Ragley Hall 2018 is the place to be. If you love markets, small businesses and all things creative, like we do, come along and say hello!
Pedddle is a brand new platform aimed at raising awareness of independent markets and stallholders. We want to support our members by giving them new opportunities to reach wider audiences, so, as a collective, we have reserved a stand at ‘The Handmade Fair’ with Kirstie Allsopp!
How Pedddle helps creatives
This fair is one of the biggest events of the year in an ever-growing craft movement, and we want to showcase Pedddle and what we can do if we work together. We have gathered some fantastic stallholders to show their products at our Pedddle stand.
As a collective, this enables traders to reach a wider audience of customers and get some experience of standing at a larger fair like this with less of the stress and pressure – as we will take care of everything!
We will be running shifts at our stand (SV5), so the customers at the fair can meet some of the fab makers who are also members of Pedddle.
Pedddle’s aim is to bring the entire market community together via our subscription service, and although we won’t always be present at markets, 2018 heralds a great start as we mean to go, by helping market stallholders as best we can!
Fancy coming down? Visit our Facebook page to be in with a chance of winning 2 free tickets.

The Handmade Fair at Ragley Hall 2018 Pedddle stallholders:
The starting point for all of Joanna’s designs is her own original artwork. These include mixed media paintings and intaglio prints, including hand drawn etchings, collagraphs and monoprints, which she then turns into broader works of art.
Recurring themes in her work include charming little birds, magical gardens and romantic florals. Joanna loves breaking a few rules, and often layers watercolours, pastels, and even salt and bleach over her prints to create a distinctive quality.
A small Cheshire based business owned by Linda McCulloch; Cosy Wren creates wonderfully soft cushions and quirky doorstops to grace your home. Using mainly tartan fabrics or prints with a countryside theme each item is sewn and finished with love and attention to detail.
Hollie Childe creates lively and vibrant Watercolour paintings inspired by British farming and Wildlife. Each painting Hollie creates pays great attention to capturing the spirit and character of the animal resulting in work which is full of life, lovely detail and expression.
It is hoped that her work will promote British farming and bring attention to the beauty of the wonderful wildlife she paints.
John, a Texan who grew up in Australia, creates serving boards and other wooden entertaining products to WOW your guests & yet remain functional and long lasting.
You will find music inspired pieces which stems from John’s prize winning days as a professional musician and hand carved bowls and spoons inspired by years of watching his Dad hand carving wooden fire bellows. John loves to tell people about the wood that is used in his products. His links with local tree arborists provide much of the English wood.

Working from his home in the north Staffordshire countryside, Pat’s pieces are either abstract or inspired by the natural world. The nature-inspired pieces are never literal, but are reflections of the feelings that things like seascapes and birds flying across the moon and clouds evoke in him.
The silver has a satin finish (almost never highly polished), and the titanium and copper are heat-coloured – titanium in shades of blue, copper in reds and oranges.
Woodcraft by Owen brings a contemporary outlook to a traditional craft.
Using his wood turning skills, Owen produces modern jewellery and houseware from carefully chosen pieces of wood. Each piece produced is individually made by hand, showcasing the grain and colour of the selected timber.
Mandy Cleveland’s Fine Art is a unique art created from doodles on old brown envelopes. Ephemeral drawings, trying to capture life’s fleeting moments, hand drawn onto used envelopes. Each item is individually drawn and is not printed or cannot be recreated.

The collection of beautifully handcrafted bowls and tiles are hand painted with detail of garden birds and flying insects.
