Who we are

Hello! I’m Merlyn, the founder (head, hands and heart!) behind The Littlest Falcon.

I design and print original linoprints in my little studio in the North East, many of which I then turn into digitally printed greetings cards.

Having always been a huge animal lover, my first prints were inspired by my two rescue cats, Sonny and Cooper. Fur and feathers continue to influence my work, and a whole menagerie of beasties have found a new habitat in my Etsy shop and on my market stalls! Just to further cement my love of animals, I am also a pet portrait artist, so if this is something you’re interesting in finding more about, drop me an email!

Being the daughter of an art teacher meant I was always making things and trying out new materials, but my career took a slightly different route and I trained as a Stained Glass Conservator in the lovely city of York. After re-discovering my crafty mojo and filling the arty void inside me with printmaking, I founded my business and haven’t looked back! Although I still love working as a conservator (I’m there four days a week!) I also adore every aspect of running my brand and am very much enjoying the journey it is taking me on!

I’m thrilled to be joining the Pedddle community and my critters and I are ready to hit the road to join a market near you!

Please come and follow me on instagram if you’d like to watch the adventure unfold!
