Who we are
I have always loved fabric and crafting. Be it sewing, knitting, needle-felting or even basket weaving, I always have a project on the go!
I learnt to sew whilst I was a singing student at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. The college had a theatre wardrobe, so I worked in there doing alterations and making costumes to help pay my way through my training. I have been a professional singer for almost 30 years and have worked extensively in Musical Theatre in the West End and beyond (My stage name is Sara Louisa Parry if you want to find me online!)
When the panic hit in March 2020, theatres closed overnight. With no gigs on the horizon, I decided to put my sewing skills and stash of pretty cotton fabric to good use and set about making face masks for friends and family. I made myself a matching tote bag and received so many lovely comments, I decided to make them available to you!
Why The Foxcub? Well, it’s been a pet name for as long as I can remember…something to do with the red hair I suppose…and they are my absolute favourite wild animal!
Please send me a message if you have any questions about my products or if you have any special fabric requests.
