Who we are
Jodie Fern’s jewellery is made with sustainability influencing every decision. Each piece is made from recycled silver (eco-silver), or plated in recycled gold. She embraces the slow fashion movement, with each piece being thoughtfully handcrafted. She strives to create long-lasting jewellery that can be cherished for years to come. With this in mind, Jodie Fern’s jewellery has an organic, simplistic aesthetic, allowing each item to be worn during any season.
Jodie draws inspiration from different aspects of her daily life. Her most recent collection was inspired by a backpacking trip around Morocco. She sketched shapes inspired by the patterns and architecture peppered throughout the winding souks and riads in cities such as Marrakech and Fez, and crafted these pieces in gold and silver through the use of wax-carving.
As sustainability is a massive influence in Jodie Fern’s design, she minimises waste by re-using leftover silver. These cut-offs are either used to make other smaller items, such as earrings or pendants, or melted down together to be re-used to make another piece.
All her jewellery comes beautifully packaged in an eco-friendly box in recycled tissue paper, with a selection of sustainably-produced postcards.
