Jo Red Fox Art

Borehamwood

Hello! I am a self-taught artist who creates weird and wonderful art, mostly inspired by film and fantastical surrealism straight out of my mind!

A redheaded woman stands at the window gazing out with her arms folded whilst a dark haired man sits at the table resting his chin on his hand. On the table is a crab and fish. Behind is a fireplace with a shell, a clock and a boat in glass with a picture of the ocean above.A redheaded woman stands at the window gazing out with her arms folded whilst a dark haired man sits at the table resting his chin on his hand. On the table is a crab and fish. Behind is a fireplace with a shell, a clock and a boat in glass with a picture of the ocean above.A scene of mice fighting in a country kitchen on varying levels of chaos and distress.A witch stands outside a doorway glumly looking out to the pouring rain and flood beneath her.A blonde woman with fairy wings sits grumpily in a chair holding a glass of champagne surrounded by gifts and balloons.A woman surrounded by toads yawns as she stares off to the right wearing a crown.A woman wearing a blue and yellow dress holds a red apply menacingly whilst a Prince stands arms folded behind her. There is a window with a sihoulette of animals watching and a plant of Belldonna beside the woman.A woman in a see-through blue negligee stands in the window of the moonlight which has an omnious dark hand around the mood.A woman with green skin lies against a starry sky in a black satin dress with a lion cub cuddled up to her side.

Who we are

I create art that I love and hope others love it too. With a voracious interest in all things, I try to incorporate as much of that into my work as possible. From films to fantasy, history to hysteria, literature to love, Jo Red Fox Art is about bringing the contents of my brain out in a fun, beautiful and strange way. Ever wondered what Annie from Stephen King’s Misery would look like as an otter? Feel the rage and wonder of being a woman? Wish for a world where witches fly around on their brooms? Love that central protagonist in a film? I just want to paint and draw it all! My prints and originals are all done in mixed media – from pens to paints, inks to oils, pencils to pastels, my passion is just to create!
