Who we are
Creating a range of unique, vibrant polymer clay jewellery, Delicious Jewellery has evolved around a love of colour, texture and shapes.
Working from a little make shift studio/conservatory at home, Sarah quickly discovered clay and started to explore the use of this material in her jewellery designs and fell in love with the freedom it gave her to create unique, hand painted, geometric statement pieces.
Her process involves sketching out the designs on paper first, then mixing the clay to get the right colours. She then shapes and adds texture before curing the clay. Once baked the sanding or painting can begin, depending on the final finished design. Sarah has recently discovered screen printing using mini silk screens which create a surface pattern on the clay. She also runs workshops for small groups and is happy to do personal commissions and also regularly attends craft fairs and stocks a range of her jewellery in local craft/gift shops.
Also conscious of using sustainable materials as often as she can, Sarah uses recycled sterling silver on a range of her jewellery. Her jewellery pieces are also carefully wrapped in recycled gift bags, postal boxes and tissue paper.
