Who we are

Compass Rose Studio is a Scottish brand using Celtic knotwork inspired prints combined with Tweed to create a unique range of distinctive cushions, accessories and artwork for the home. Its collection also includes unique recycled wood pieces embellished with copper, old stamps, vintage charts and maps.

Developing my love of Celtic knotwork , 2021 has brought a new collection of printed tea towels and tin mugs to the range: using stylised plants, hares fish and seahorses.

At Compass Rose Studio we are always working on different ways to produce rustic yet contemporary pieces using traditional materials. I was a textile designer for over 20 years. I love fabric of all kinds and developing products which showcase the wonderful qualities of wool and the beautiful colours inspired by the Scottish landscape.

The studio is situated in a rural idyll with stunning views over the Aberdeenshire countryside and provides a perfect location in which to be creative..
