Who we are

Hi, I’m Bex from Blue Design Shed. I’m a kiln fused glass and textile artist, working from my garden studio in a village in Cambridgeshire. I have lived in and around Cambridge for 24 years, since studying for my MA in Arts Management.

I find inspiration from several places, in the beautiful natural environment around me, in the design of 1960/1970s ceramics, fabric and wallpaper and from the pure rich colours found in the glass I use in my work.

I work full time on my artwork and sell via galleries, from my Folksy shop and I attend craft fairs throughout the year. I am also a member of Cambridge Open Studios and enjoy taking part each year with my friends.
